Congress that Works for the People

Statement

From the bottom of my heart -- thank you. I am so incredibly grateful to the voters of Massachusetts' Second District for letting me continue to serve as your voice in Congress.

From the beginning, my campaign has been about the values we care about in Massachusetts.

Decency.

Honesty.

Integrity.

And a belief that good people can disagree but still respect one another.

This victory isn't about sending me back to Congress, or even about what party controls Congress. It's about having a Congress that reflects what we believe in.

I am excited to get to work alongside Ayanna Pressley and Lori Trahan -- I'm so, so proud that Massachusetts is sending more strong, smart women to Congress.

It's about having a government that fights for everyone who works hard and dreams big to build a better life for themselves and their children.

Massachusetts: our future is brighter because of what we've accomplished together. This election might be finished -- but our work for the people of this country is just beginning.
